The title "Ipse dixit" can be translated as "he said", and it's latin. I never thought I would give a latin title to one of my websites... Never say never. However, I guess it sounds nice for a site of quotes, it is the meaning behind the word "quotation" afterall.
This is the second version of the site, featuring a gorgeous photo of Christina Ricci with a camel. I had to use it, it's brilliant! *_*

This site experienced a lot of break-down, hiatus and problems until I finally decided to put it online without searching for more scripts, because I'm a lazy person and I'd like to have a serious mysql script to do the hard job instead of myself. I couldn't find what I wanted, so here you are the new, improved (?) version of Ipse Dixit totally manual-updated, as of August 19, 2007.
